n Who am I ?
My name is Janos /Jani/ Schmidt.
I was born in 10/07/1961.
I am very proud and happy with my family. Married with Zita in 1986 and we are happy with our four children.
David: 13/01/1988.
Krisztian: 12/11/1989.
Luca: 07/11/1994.
Marton: 07/11/1994.
We have moved from Budapest to Pilisvorosvar (small village abt. 15km. from the capital beaming north-west). Happy to live in the nature. Other side of the next street has in the pine-forest.
I am working for US based pharmaceutical company
as the IT Manager for Hungary.

n My HAM activity
I have a license for 1992. Not so old but I hope we met you somehere on the band.
My favourite activity on VHF DX, especially via Meteor Scatter.
I am a memeber of the HA7P Hungarian Contest Group.
My old QTH was in JN97NM. I've worked some beautiful MS QSOs via HSCW from there, where my set-up was Cuschraft 13B2, 120W and DTR by DF7KF. After the QTH moving in 1998 I was not QRV till August of 2005. Currently I am capable to work on 144 Mhz but unfortunatelly I have a limited area for tropospheric propagation. One of the reason I prefer the MS activity which is much easier nowdays with the new mode like FSK444 by K1JT.________________________________________________
